The 2009 Pie Off!

The Pie Maven's 2009 Pie Off will be was September 10 in Grapevine, Texas. 

UPDATE!
The 2009 Pie Off was a great success.  The competition was fierce in this Pie vs. Pie Battle Royale.  There were an overwhelming number of fantastic, delectable entries, and the judges definitely had their work cut out for them.  But somehow they narrowed it down, and the judge's top winners were:


Winner - Best Appearance:  Lisa's Margarita Tart


Winner - Best Tasting: Sandy's Chocolate Icebox Pie


Winner - Best Overall:  Lisa's Apple Pie (a la Mode)
